I’m very excited to share a stunning styled shoot I had the pleasure of being a part of this past fall. Copper and Merlot was the theme. We were nestled amidst the grape vines at beautiful wedding venue and winery The Vineyards at Hershey. I was able to walk through the grape vines and pick a few grapes for my sweets display which was pretty cool. Some of you may wonder why I would spend time coming up with ideas and creating cakes just to be photographed. I honestly love the chance to create something that may be a little out of the box and hope that it inspires. I hope you love these images as much as I do by Tina Jay Photography. The shoot was coordinated by the talented Lora from Laurel & Elm. Enjoy!
A naked cake with chocolate ganache dripping off the edges was a cake I’ve been wanting to create. Additional touches included 24 karat gold leaf accents and fresh figs, berries, chocolate sails and a French macaron on top. Rich and decadent and so yummy with a fabulous glass of merlot.
Stationery and calligraphy by Belles Lettres Calligraphy was just gorgeous. Hand written calligraphy will be a big trend in 2016.
Gorgeous floral designs by Wildflowers by Design and beautiful table from Barnes Handcrafted Farmhouse Tables.
Beautiful pieces from Swoon Vintage Rentals.
It was such a pleasure working with such an amazing team of wedding professionals. Be sure to check out the photo shoot on the wonderful Wedding Chicks blog here.
