by I had to post this tonight because this wedding was just so beautiful. Jamie and Garrett were married today and had their reception at the gorgeous Linwood Estate in Carlisle. Today was a very special day. Besides getting married it was also Jamie’s birthday and her parent’s anniversary. In addition to the wedding cake, I created a special anniversary cake for her parents and also a birthday cake for Jamie. This made for a lovely cake trio.
The wedding colors included shades of blush, ivory and gold accents. I just love how the cake display turned out.
The wedding cake included sugar pearls, a brush gold tier, and whimsical fondant ruffled rosettes. The cake flavor was white cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
There is a story behind the anniversary cake. Jamie wanted something that replicated the look of their original wedding cake with salmon dots. There was a boo boo on their original cake and had the wrong color dots, so she wanted to make it right. How sweet is that? Jamie’s cake had fun gold chevron banding. I just love the cake toppers she got for the cakes.

Guests were greeted with this beautiful door decorated with their wedding theme.
The beautiful florals were designed by Terri Maclay with Nature’s Harmony. Catering was provided by Linwood Estate.
The statement wall at Linwood Estate has to be one of my favorite features. It’s such a beautiful backdrop.
