Today, I’m excited to share Ashley and Curtis’s wedding cake. They were married and had their reception at The Trust in Lancaster. It’s a stunning venue with amazing architectural details. Ashley wanted an all white cake with tons of texture. I incorporated frilly ruffles to emulate some of the texture in her gown, a quatrefoil pattern to bring in the patterns of the ceiling in the venue. This was such a fun cake to create. The cake flavor was a white cake with raspberry buttercream and raspberry filling.
The cake included edible flowers made of rice paper. They added a very delicate touch to the cake.
Isn’t the ceiling just gorgeous! I also created a groom’s cake to resemble Curtis’s tuxedo. The cake flavor was chocolate cake with cookies and cream buttercream filling.
I was so excited to open my emails today, and see this lovely email from Ashley 🙂
Jasmine,
Wow — the wedding cake was LOVELY! I adored details on each layer! The sugar flowers were beautiful. Thank you so much for turning our ideas into a masterpiece. The groom’s cake was also so classy. Hope you have a wonderful week. We are off to Mexico!
Best, AshleyÂ
