by Today, I had the pleasure of being a part of a wonderful open house hosted by Weddings by JDK at Central PA’s newest wedding and reception venue Linwood Estate. The venue is nestled on 121 acres of Pennsylvania’s Great Appalachian Valley in Carlisle. Linwood offers multiple picturesque ceremony and reception locations. Their beautiful renovated barn will accommodate up to 250 guests. The open house took place in the manor which will host smaller events. I provided a sweets table, cupcakes and cookies for the event. The beautiful decor and florals were designed by the talented team at Weddings by JDK. The display was on a charming farm house table and the floral designs reflected an urban, industrial chic look which will certainly be a trend for 2014. Galvanized tins, chicken wire and florals including succulents and flowers in shades of pinks, white, purples and lovely sage green made for a fabulous display.
