When I received an inquiry from my website from Jaden and Rachel about creating their wedding cake my curiosity was a bit piqued when I saw their reception was taking place at the Please Touch Museum in Philadelphia. I love the museum and had seen photos of weddings there and I just had to meet them. Honestly, Philly is a little out of my normal delivery area, but I knew when I met them I really wanted to work with them. The venue was simply spectacular and they were just so nice. The theme of their wedding incorporated a subtle Gatsby and Art Deco theme. Rachel really wanted to incorporate a quatrefoil pattern on the cake…which I just loved and will probably be putting it on everything (just kidding). The wedding colors included soft pink, silver and gold. The wedding cake flavors were chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream filling and chocolate cake with cookies and cream buttercream filling.
Congratulations Jaden and Rachel!

Hi! I love love all your cakes. Please tell me did you you use a cutter to do the quarterfoil design.

The quartrefoil is by Marvelous Molds. They are awesome and much easier to use than a cutter. I highly recommend their products.
