Part of what I really love doing is trying to come up with unique presentations for the couples I work with. I always ask what they are doing for their reception decor so I can coordinate the look of the cake or cupcake display to make everything look cohesive. When I found out that Steve was custom making boxes for the florals for their centerpieces, I wanted to do something to tie the cupcake tower display together with his design. While visiting one of the antique shops I frequent, I discovered the perfect pieces for a cupcake stand base. I was thrilled to see it all come together at the reception.
Their wedding colors included a pretty soft tiffany blue, khaki and shades of purple. They incorporated stained wood boxes in the decor so I created a cupcake stand using low wooden crates. I really loved how it turned out.
The cupcake flavors were 24 Carrot, Vanilla Vanilla, and Cafe Mocha.
How beautiful are the boxes Steve custom made? Each one was engraved by him as well. The beautiful floral designs were created by Stacia at Petals with Style.
The sweetheart table was adorable.
Congratulations Steve and Jessica!
