I’m a bit behind on blogging, but I wanted to share one of the most beautiful weddings I had the honor of being a part of last fall.
The wedding cake was a contrast to the vibrancy and spectacular Asian inspired decor of the room. Mai-Lynn wanted her wedding cake to be soft in color incorporating blush pink and gold accents. I really loved that the cake was not matchy matchy with the decor. The cake flavors included carrot cake with cream cheese filling, white cake with raspberry buttercream filling and chocolate cake with peanut butter buttercream filling
It was such an honor working with the incredibly talented photographer Matthew Tennison with Tennison Photography. He was kind enough to let me share his stunning images below from the wedding.
The reception took place that the beautiful Hershey Lodge.
When I walked into the ballroom, my jaw pretty much dropped. The traditional ballroom was transformed into the most magical space. The event design company Shumaker PDT installed a huge bamboo canopy over the dance floor which was covered with dripping greenery. Mai-Lynn had traditional lanterns from Vietnam hung from the canopy. Huge trees were brought in which made it feel like you were outside.
The beautiful florals were designed by Floral Designs of Mount Joy.
Congratulations again to Mai-Lynn and Alex. Your wedding will be one I will never forget.
