by I have to say I had so much fun creating Abby and Brendan’s wedding cake. When I initially meet with couples, I ask them to bring anything for inspiration. It could be an invitation, color swatches or any details from the wedding. When I saw Abby and Brendan’s invitation, I knew I had to work the beautiful design onto the cake.
The invitation is called Graceful Ginkgo from Wedding Paper Divas. It’s such a pretty design for a summer wedding. The reception took place at the Box Hill Mansion in York which has the most amazing views.
The cake flavor was vanilla cake with Oreo buttercream filling. Ginkgo leaves and flowers decorated the cake. I loved the combination of lime green and raspberry too.
