by This past Friday I had the pleasure of creating a cake and cupcakes for Sallie and Joe’s wedding. They were married and had their reception at my favorite venue, Moonstone Manor (formerly Conewago Manor). Usually wedding receptions there take place under their beautiful tent, but Sallie and Joe had an intimate ceremony and reception in the gorgeous manor.
The lovely invitation set the tone for the wedding and reception.
Sallie decided to have a small wedding cake and cupcakes for their guest.
The cupcake flavors included Nutty Monkey (banana cupcake filled with chocolate ganache and topped with peanut butter buttercream frosting) and a chocolate cupcake topped with caramel buttercream frosting.
The cake included sugar gardenias and the flavor was white cake with chocolate ganache and peanut butter buttercream fillings.
The florals, event design and catering were provided by Weddings by JDK. Everything looked just stunning.
Instead of placecards, Sallie made these adorable stir sticks which were placed in champagne glasses.
Congratulations Sallie and Joe on your new life together!
