Jessica and Charlie were married this Saturday. They had their reception for almost 250 guests at the beautiful Hershey Lodge. Jessica loves lemons and the reception decor and wedding cake incorporated a beautiful and elegant lemon theme. When I met with Jessica for our cake tasting, she said she wanted a “big” cake. Well, that’s what she got 🙂
Details included a damask print that was also on her invitations. Sugars flowers including peonies, roses, calla lilies and small blossoms in yellow and white. The cake flavor, also tied in the lemon theme which was a white cake with fresh lemon curd and vanilla buttercream fillings…one of my favorite pairing.
The florals by Queen Bee Floral Design were spectacular. Tall arrangements filled with lemons and beautiful fresh hydrangea.
The menu also incorporated the damask print which was on the cake design too.
I took this shot of the top 3 tiers before placing it on the bottom tiers. I really like the small version too 🙂
