Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to with Tamra in creating this adorable lollipop theme cake and dessert table for her daughter Alaina’s 3rd birthday party. The inspiration was the super adorable custom lollipop invitation from Fine Stationery (click here to view). Pink, lime green and orange were the vibrant colors I incorporated into the design.

The whimsical 2 tier cake included fondant lollipops and ribbon flowers. The cake flavors were vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream filling and chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream filling.
I wanted everything to be super customized for Alaina. I created custom labels and placed them on the pink Whirley pops. I also created all the tags with rhinestones decorations. A little bling never hurts..even for a 3 year old 🙂
Goodies included Whirley pops, rock candy sticks, kettle corn, chocolate dipped pretzels, gummy apple rings…
Yogurt covered peanuts, pink gummy pigs, marshmallow pop…
Gourmet chocolate dipped Oreos from Sweeties by Kim.
The gourmet cupcake flavors included vanilla vanilla, vanilla cupcake with raspberry buttercream frosting, chocolate cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream frosting and chocolate cupcake with vanilla buttercream frosting.
Little pink, orange and lime green flowers decorated each cupcake.
I also made candy shaped cookies.
Catering and linens were provided by The JDK Group. The mozzarella pipette appetizers are delicious!
The floral were even lollipop shaped to go with the theme.
This dessert table was so much fun creating. Happy 3rd birthday Alaina!
