This weekend I had the honor of creating Andrea and Jason’s wedding cake and groom’s cake. Andrea had brought me a photo of a cake she loved with hundreds of tiny flowers cascading down the sides of each tier. I loved the way the cake looked with the fresh flowers draping down the front. The cake flavors were white cake with raspberry buttercream filling and red velvet cake with honey cream cheese filling. The cake was covered with a delicious buttercream. The actual base of the cake was covered with fondant and wrapped with teal organza to match her reception color.
The reception was as the Ribbon Mill in Carlisle. It’s a great open loft like space with exposed brick and beams and hard wood flooring.
The florals were designed by The Garden Bouquet in Mechanicsburg.
Catering was provided by Festive Board Catering and photography was by Conte Photography. The band Cruise Control Band was setting us while I was there. It looked to be a great evening of fun!
Congratulations again to Andrea and Jason!
