Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I have been busy, but several of my last cupcake towers were set up by my clients, so I didn’t have a chance to photograph them.
Well, the great news is I was asked to provide a wedding cake for a photo shoot yesterday for the big wedding guide the Patriot News publishes in September. It was really an honor, since only a handful of cake designers were asked to participate. I brought several cakes and this is the one which will appear in the magazine. Sorry for the bad photo, but I created handmade roses for the top, the thin ribbons on the cake are painted to look like satin. I also dotted the ribbon with Swarovski crystals and added a broach on the bow for a touch of elegance. I especially made it for the shoot, so I’m glad they picked it.
