I met Cory (the groom) at a wedding show sponsored by the local ABC News station early this year. He wasn’t an attendee, but a camera man taking footage of the event. He sampled one of my cupcakes, said he was getting married and so the story goes. 7 months later I had the pleasure of making Cory and Ashley’s wedding cake. Their colors were yellow, silver and cobalt blue. The fondant was a marble yellow and all the decorations on the cake were made of fondant including the silver pearls. The 3-tier, 100+serving cake was yellow cake with chocolate hazelnut buttercream filling and yellow cake with lemon buttercream filling. I also created an additional cupcake tower to match the cake. The reception and wedding were at the Allenberry Resort Inn & Playhouse in Boiling Springs, PA. Cory was there when I delivered the cake and loved it. Yeah!
