by This weekend I had so much fun creating a 1st birthday cake inspired by the adorable party invitation. The theme was Southern charm incorporating lace, lemons with pink and yellow accents. I just love when I can gain inspiration from stationery. I connected with Tina Jay who owns Tina Jay Photography through a mutual friend. Tina just moved to the area and does fabulous work. She ordered the cake for her niece and provided these beautiful images for me to share with you!
How adorable is Emma!
The cake flavor was marble cake with vanilla buttercream filling. I created a bunting as a cake topper inspired by the invitation. The cake design included lace, pearl and lemon accents.
