I’ve been saving this post until the weather was just right. Cold..a little snow..now’s the perfect time. Val and Mak were married in January on a snowy day. They had their beautiful wedding at the National Civil War Museum
. They are such an amazing couple and were such a joy to work with. Special thanks to Susquehanna Photographic
for allowing me to share the photos below.
Val and Mak were guinea pigs for my first gluten free baking experience. I was a bit nervous baking with ingredients like rice flour, potato starch and xanthan gum, but they loved the chocolate cake I made so I was thrilled.
This is my favorite photo of Mak performing surgery on the cake.
What a beautiful couple.
Since their wedding Val has started a very successful custom chalkboard business. She creates custom pieces for weddings, businesses and home decor. She even offers her designs in a digital format so you can create your own holiday cards. Here’s just one template. Please stop by her Etsy shop Lily & Val
to see her amazing work. I’m so proud of her success.
Happy almost 1 year Mak and Val 🙂
