Spring tiger lily cake

So I completely fell off the blogging wagon, but I’m back 🙂

Wedding season is in full swing and I had the pleasure of creating this tiger lily inspired cake for a wedding at Liberty Forge this weekend. This season, I’ll be creating wedding cakes for this beautiful venue and am so excited for the opportunity.

The wedding colors included a bright blue, deep yellow and orange. A quilting pattern, fondant 

pearl border and tiger lilies were part of the cake design.

 The cake flavors included white cake with strawberry buttercream filling and spice cake with 

vanilla buttercream filling.
