Heather and Ben were a wonderful couple I had the pleasure of creating a cupcake tower and sweets table for their wedding reception. The plan was to have their wedding and reception at their home. A beautiful tent was set up, but the weather that weekend just didn’t cooperate. A little too much rain changed their plans and they had their reception at their church. They were amazing dealing with a venue change the day before the wedding.
Heather and Ben wanted their names on the side of the cake topper…loved how it turned out.
Tara with Splints and Daisies did all the florals and created the beautiful cake topper. I did a little stenciling on the side of the cake too. The wedding colors were reds and oranges.
In addition to the cupcake tower they included a sweets display with fun retro candy.
I created the tags to coordinate with the wedding colors.
Root beer barrels, Bit o Honeys, string licorice, butterscotch buttons and swedish fish were part of the goodies.
Each of the cupcakes was decorated with a embossed fondant letter.
The florals by Splints & Daisies were so pretty.
This is a fun way for guests to sign in. After the wedding they could frame it.
