Melissa and Dave’s wedding at Landis Valley Museum

On Saturday I had the honor or creating a fun wedding cake and cupcake display for Melissa and Dave’s wedding at the barn at Landis Valley Museum in Lancaster. A charming rustic setting with exposed beams and twinkling lights. Melissa and Dave’s wedding cake was a chocolate cake covered with chocolate ganache and decorated with large chocolate curls. Not my normal style, but it was fun creating it!

Guests also, enjoyed cupcakes including chocolate chocolate, 24 carrot and lemon drop. Catering and additional goodies were provided by the wonderful team from C&J Catering.
The bridal bouquets were created by the very talented Melissa with C&J Catering. I love the bright colors.

Melissa looked so beautiful before the ceremony. I love the little flower girl
wand with the ribbon details.

Attention to detail makes a wedding extra special and personalized. The escorts cards were hung from the barn door with small wooden clothes pins. Love it.

The center pieces were created by the bride and the table numbers coordinated with all the printed pieces.

Other wonderful details included the coordinating signage for the gift card basket. The guest book area included family photos and a photo book to sign.

Flip flops were even provided for guests with tired feet.

The favors were red velvet whoopie pies with a tag that said “whoopie we’re married”. Wonderful details.

Here’s the horse and buggy waiting for the couple after the ceremony.

Guests also enjoyed a photo booth and live band throughout the evening.

Congratulations Melissa and Dave!
