Ashley & Travis’ Romantic Lace Inspired Dessert Table

I had the pleasure of designing this lace inspired dessert table for Ashley and Travis’ wedding at the historic Yorktowne Hotel in downtown York. It was my first time at this venue and the architecture in the ballroom is really beautiful.

The inspiration for the table was the beautiful invitation designed by Designs by Renee. The champagne pink, ivory and gold along with the use of delicate lace were the main elements in designing the table.

Each jar had an ivory tag with a little pink rhinestone attached. This is a yummy caramel cereal crunch with roasted almonds and cranberries mixed in…one of my favorites. I love my new craft punch I used to create the tags.

Ashley decided to create a dessert table instead of giving individual favors. I provided monogrammed goodie bags for guests who wanted to take a sampling home. I really think this is a great alternative to favors. Something special guest can enjoy the entire evening.

Ashley wanted to incorporate savory and snack items in addition to the traditional sweets. We decided to offer popcorn, caramel corn, nuts, pretzel bite, muddy buddy mix, caramel crunch mix and more. The savory with the sweet is a nice option.

Wrapping lace around the table added a nice touch to continue the the lace theme.

I would like to also note that the staff at the Yorktowne Hotel were the nicest and most helpful people I’ve worked with. It was also nice meeting Jess and Matt with Digital Ephemera Photography who were shooting the wedding…photo below by them.

It was such a pleasure working with the adorable couple. Congratuations Ashley & Travis 🙂
