Last Friday I had the honor of being a part of Dana and Mike’s amazing wedding. The reception was held at the Valencia Ballroom in York. Dana and Mike had a very elegant color palette of gold, black and white. Feathers were incorporated in the invitations and centerpieces so I tried to carry the look to the 5-tier cake.
I used the artwork from their invitation to create the cake base.
I was very excited to be a guest at the wedding since they are both friends of mine. Mike is a full back with the Kansas City Chiefs. It was fun having dinner with my friend Carmina Cristina who did Dana’s amazing make-up. She is so talented. Seeing the cake cutting and eating my own cake at a wedding was a great treat.

It was a big wedding…200 guests. So in addition to the cake, I did a cupcake tower and dessert table for additional goodies to eat. 16 feet of candy, cupcakes, chocolate dipped pretzels and marshmallows!
I used the artwork from the invitation and designed tags for the table display.
