Wow…what a day! Chocolate Fest was so wonderful. Over 2,500 attended and we gave out about 1,700 sample cupcakes, dipped pretzels and marshmallows. I did my share of sampling from the other 70+ vendors and loved the slider burgers with chocolate ketchup and s’mores pizza from the Hershey Lodge, the mousse with yummy mango from the Harrisburg Hilton was wonderful and the root beer from ABC was so tasty!
I also entered a cake in the professional cake competition and won 1st place for prettiest cake. The theme was Ole Mexico, so my design included Mexican folk art figure replicas and designs using papel de china tissue paper flowers and papel picado tissue paper flags. Thanks to Sarah for all her help. Also, thanks to Mimi at Balloons and More for allowing me to use their linens and Donna with Zimmerman’s Nuts and Candy for the chocolate and sprinkles and Susan Moran with V&M Wedding Concepts.
